Volunteers of America Los Angeles (VOALA) has been empowering individuals and families since 1896, guided by the belief that every person has the potential to live a fulfilling, self-sufficient life. Dedicated to serving people from all walks of life, VOALA provides a wide range of programs that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of the community. For adults and families, VOALA’s programs emphasize recovery, education, housing, and personal growth. Through partnerships like the Southern California Drug and Alcohol Programs (SCADP), VOALA offers court-ordered, outpatient, residential, and transitional sober living services designed to help individuals overcome addiction and rebuild their lives. Many of these programs integrate anger management and emotional regulation training, essential tools for breaking destructive cycles and promoting healthier relationships.
