Collins’s Counseling

Collins Counseling provides court-mandated and self-referred programs that empower individuals to make lasting, positive changes in their lives. Guided by the belief that “Change Comes From Within,” the center offers affordable and accessible services for adults, youth, and families through both group and one-on-one sessions. A primary focus is placed on Anger Management, helping participants identify their triggers, recognize unhealthy thought patterns, and develop practical strategies to respond to conflict calmly and constructively. These programs are designed for both adults and youth, promoting emotional awareness and improved communication skills that enhance relationships at home, work, and in the community.

In addition to Anger Management, Collins Counseling facilitates programs for Domestic Violence Prevention, Parenting & Mommy Mentoring, and Pastoral Counseling and Life Coaching. The Domestic Violence program educates clients about the dynamics of power, control, and healthy relationships, while the Parenting program helps parents build stronger family bonds through improved understanding, self-care, and positive discipline techniques. Pastoral Counseling and Life Coaching incorporate faith-based wisdom and practical guidance to support clients in areas such as grief, confidence, mindfulness, and personal growth.

Collins Counseling also offers grief counseling and personal development retreats like the “Unmuted Retreat,” which creates a supportive environment for women to connect, heal, and empower one another. Participants who successfully complete their programs receive a certificate of completion.
