Dave Wolffe is a seasoned educator, counselor, and author whose work focuses on helping individuals better understand and manage anger, conflict, and emotional challenges. With over thirty years of experience in the New York City public school system as both a teacher and guidance counselor, Wolffe has dedicated his career to fostering emotional intelligence and positive communication skills, particularly among youth. His extensive background in education inspired the development of a specialized anger management program designed for teens, centered around his book Peace: The Other Side of Anger. This program helps participants explore the roots of anger, learn healthy coping strategies, and cultivate inner peace.
In addition to his work with adolescents, Wolffe wrote Settling the Unsettling: Understanding and Resolving Conflict to support college students and young adults in navigating interpersonal and academic conflicts more effectively. His approach combines empathy, self-awareness, and practical techniques for resolving disputes and maintaining balanced relationships. As an adjunct lecturer at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, he has shared his expertise in conflict resolution with future leaders and professionals.
Now residing in Connecticut, Dave Wolffe continues to inspire others through his writing, speaking engagements, and social media presence. His work emphasizes that peace is not the absence of anger, but the understanding and transformation of it—a message that resonates deeply with anyone seeking personal growth and emotional well-being.
