Kristin Anderson

Kristin Anderson is an Associate Licensed Professional Counselor at The Up Center, where she provides compassionate and professional counseling services to individuals, families, and groups. With a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Kennesaw State University and a Master of Science in School Counseling from Mercer University, Kristin brings a strong academic foundation and extensive practical experience to her work. As a Certified School Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor, she has dedicated her career to helping youth and adults manage emotional challenges, develop healthy coping skills, and build confidence in navigating life’s obstacles.

Kristin specializes in supporting clients dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, and social or behavioral challenges, as well as those working on college and career readiness. Her approach is integrative and solution-focused, emphasizing collaboration, self-awareness, and personal growth. She also provides guidance in anger management, helping clients understand emotional triggers and develop constructive strategies for handling frustration and conflict. Through this work, she empowers individuals to cultivate emotional balance and resilience both at home and in their relationships.

Drawing from her background in both educational and therapeutic settings, Kristin creates a safe, supportive environment where clients can thrive and achieve meaningful change.
