The Children’s Coalition for Northeast Louisiana is a nonprofit organization devoted to building stronger, healthier communities where children and families can thrive. Serving 12 parishes across the region, including Ouachita, Lincoln, Franklin, and Morehouse, the Coalition supports children from birth through age 18, along with parents, educators, and caregivers. For more than 25 years, the organization has provided essential programs and resources focused on four key pillars: Early Childhood, Parenting, Healthy Living, and Youth Development.
Through these initiatives, the Coalition works to ensure that every child has access to quality education, nurturing environments, and opportunities for growth. Parenting programs help families develop positive relationships, strengthen communication, and learn effective ways to manage conflict and emotions—skills that are especially valuable for those seeking anger management support. The Healthy Living programs encourage emotional wellness and resilience by promoting self-regulation and coping strategies for both children and adults.
Community engagement is a cornerstone of the Coalition’s mission. From major local events like Super Saturday and the Dragon Boat Festival to volunteer opportunities and educational workshops, the organization brings families and communities together to create lasting change. By connecting families with valuable resources, training, and support networks, the Children’s Coalition for Northeast Louisiana empowers individuals to make informed choices that benefit their well-being and future. United by compassion and collaboration, the Coalition continues to pave the way for a brighter, healthier future for children and families throughout Northeast Louisiana.
