Jamie Ross, LMFT, PLLC offers compassionate, client-centered therapy services to individuals, couples, and families throughout Long Island. With over 15 years of experience, Jamie Ross and her team specialize in helping clients overcome personal, relational, and emotional challenges through evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and the Gottman Method for couples. The practice provides a safe, supportive environment that encourages self-exploration, goal setting, and meaningful progress toward improved mental health and relationships.
A key focus of the practice is anger management, with both individual and group programs led by a certified Anger Management Specialist. These sessions help clients identify triggers, understand the roots of their anger, and learn healthy ways to express and manage it. Through structured 12- to 15-week programs, participants develop tools to control anger in work, family, and social settings—skills that often benefit overall emotional regulation and interpersonal communication. Completion certificates are available for court-mandated participants.
In addition to anger management, the practice offers therapy for anxiety, depression, substance abuse, trauma, and ADHD, as well as specialized services for teens, couples, and families facing communication or behavioral challenges. As an OASAS-certified provider, Jamie Ross, LMFT, PLLC also conducts DUI/DWI and substance use assessments for court or self-referred clients. Whether seeking personal growth, conflict resolution, or recovery support, clients can expect compassionate care that fosters long-term healing and emotional balance in every aspect of life.
