My Health My Resources of Tarrant County (MHMR) is a community-based organization dedicated to improving lives across North Texas by providing comprehensive, person-centered services for individuals and families facing mental health challenges, substance use disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and early childhood developmental delays. Serving youth, adults, veterans, and families with young children, MHMR partners closely with community organizations to ensure coordinated care that supports long-term stability, independence, and hope. As a unit of local government, MHMR is guided by a strong public mission to make quality care accessible, responsive, and inclusive for all who need support.

MHMR offers a wide range of behavioral health services designed to meet people where they are, including crisis intervention, urgent mental health care, follow-up support, and relapse prevention. These services help individuals manage intense emotions, stabilize during difficult moments, and build healthier coping strategies. While addressing a broad spectrum of mental health needs, MHMR’s approach also supports individuals who struggle with emotional regulation, conflict, and stress—key areas commonly addressed through anger management–focused counseling and skill development. By helping clients understand emotional triggers, strengthen self-control, and develop constructive responses, MHMR promotes safer relationships and improved daily functioning.

Support is available year-round through crisis response services, including mobile outreach teams that provide face-to-face assessments and short-term intervention in community settings. In addition, MHMR connects adults, young adults, and families to collaborative community resources, ensuring continuity of care beyond immediate services. Through prevention, early intervention, treatment, and recovery-oriented support, MHMR remains committed to changing lives and strengthening the overall well-being of the communities it serves.
