About ALCOHOL & DRUG ABUSE PREVENTION IN TEXAS

Welcome to the Alcohol & Drug Abuse Council of Deep East Texas, where we offer comprehensive programs aimed at addressing substance abuse issues and promoting healthier lifestyles. Our Texas Drug Offenders Education Program (DOEP) is designed to help individuals comply with the requirements of the Community Supervision and Corrections Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Certified by the Texas Department of State Health Services, our instructors adhere to all rules and guidelines required for certification. The DOEP program consists of a 15-hour course, with night classes held in three-hour sessions over five consecutive nights. Upon successful completion of the program, participants receive a Texas DOEP Education Program certificate of completion, which must be submitted to the Department of Public Safety to maintain compliance with Texas State Driver's License status.

Here are some important details about our DOEP program:

The fee for the program is $95.00 (cashier's check or money order only). Participants are required to provide their cause number, county of conviction, name of Probation Officer, and Driver’s License number at the time of class. Attendance of all five scheduled days of class in consecutive order is mandatory for successful program completion. DOEP classes are held on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights (please check the schedule closely). At the Alcohol & Drug Abuse Council of Deep East Texas, we are dedicated to providing individuals with the education and support they need to overcome substance abuse challenges and lead fulfilling lives. Join us in our mission to create healthier communities and combat substance abuse issues.
