Advantage Treatment Center (ATC) offers a range of pre and post-sentencing services at its locations in Sterling, Montrose, Lamar, and Alamosa, with the goal of supporting individuals in meeting court-ordered requirements and successfully reintegrating into their communities. These services include Monitored Sobriety and Electronic Monitoring, tailored to ensure compliance with stipulations set forth by the Courts, Probation Office, and Parole Office. ATC’s programs are designed with the success of both the court system and the individual in mind, emphasizing the importance of public safety and reducing recidivism.

ATC offers a variety of programs and services, including Outpatient Treatment for substance use disorders and mental health, Intensive Residential Treatment (IRT) for those with a history of substance use, and various monitoring services such as Urine Analysis (UA), SCRAM Monitoring, Electronic Home Monitoring (EHM), and GPS Monitoring. Each service is structured to provide rigorous oversight and support to help clients adhere to their legal obligations. For instance, UA monitoring involves randomized testing to ensure sobriety, while SCRAM and EHM require clients to wear ankle monitors that track alcohol use and curfew compliance, respectively. GPS Monitoring offers detailed tracking of a client’s movements, enhancing accountability.

Additionally, ATC facilitates Useful Public Service (Community Service) for individuals who have been found guilty in court. This program assigns hours based on the severity of the case, aiming to rectify harm caused to the community. Hair Follicle Testing is another critical service offered, detecting drug use to maintain the integrity of the legal process. Breathalyzer Testing ensures clients are not under the influence at the time of testing, further supporting compliance with court orders.

The Intensive Residential Treatment (IRT) program, available at the Sterling, Lamar, and Alamosa facilities, provides a 90-day treatment program focused on substance abuse recovery and addressing criminal conduct. Referrals for IRT are accepted from the Division of Criminal Justice, Colorado Department of Corrections, or a Probation Department. The IRT program is an intensive initiative aimed at providing individuals with the tools and support needed for long-term recovery and successful reintegration into society.

ATC’s commitment to client success extends beyond mere compliance. The center works closely with individuals to provide education, vocational training, and support in finding employment and housing, thereby addressing the broader needs essential for successful reentry into the community. By closely monitoring and supporting individuals under court supervision, ATC helps to ensure they comply with their sentences and avoid further criminal behavior, contributing to a safer and more secure environment for everyone.

All of ATC’s monitored sobriety programs, including SCRAM and community service monitoring, are self-pay unless covered by a supervising agency, with flexible payment arrangements available. This comprehensive approach underscores ATC’s dedication to facilitating successful outcomes for both the clients and the community, highlighting the belief that client success ultimately translates to community success.
